Opening times:

East Court: 10am – 9pm

Theatre foyer/bar will open 90 mins before performances start, and the auditorium will open 30 minutes before performances start.

How to find us

Alexandra Palace is well served by public transport:

By tube: Wood Green is the nearest underground station on the Piccadilly Line. (journey time is 20 minutes from Piccadilly Circus). Exit Wood Green Station and go to bus stop A to pick up the W3 bus up the hill to Alexandra Palace.

By rail: Alexandra Palace has its own British Rail Station, fittingly called Alexandra Palace Station. It is located at the Wood Green entrance to the Park. A regular train service runs direct from Moorgate (weekdays only) or from Kings Cross, changing at Finsbury Park.

By bus: take the W3 bus from outside the station to the stop called Alexandra Ice Rink and walk to the main East Court entrance.

Parking: we have parking spaces in the grounds, offered free of charge. These are all on a first come first served basis and cannot be booked in advance.

Accessible parking: we do have accessible parking on site for Blue Badge holders, these are offered on a first come first served basis. It’s also useful to note, that this is not directly outside the venue. For specific information please see our website.

Access

Food and drink

Food and drink are available to purchase throughout the day. We do not allow hot food in the theatre.

Drinks are available to pre order for the interval at the Theatre Bar.

Alexandra Palace operates a Challenge 25 Policy at all of our bars

Only food and drink purchased at Alexandra Palace is allowed inside the theatre.

Age restrictions for the theatre

Under 16’s need to be accompanied by adult, under 4s not permitted. However, events may vary so please check your ticket or the event page for performance specific age restrictions.

Bag search

Bag searches will be in operation throughout the venue.

Cash machines:

There is a cash machine available in the Ice Rink Cafe. These machines charge for cash withdrawal.

Cloakroom

There is no cloakroom facility.

We do not allow any large bags into the theatre to ensure that there is plenty of space for everyone to be seated comfortably. We also do not permit buggies in the theatre.

Ticket purchasing on-site

Tickets are sold online and over the phone via See Tickets. This can be done using the tablets at reception, a member of staff will be able to assist with the booking process.

Ticketing issues

Please contact the ticket provider you purchased your ticket from. All tickets bought on the AP website are handled by See Tickets, 0871 220 0260 or customercare@seetickets.com

Please ensure that you bring your e-ticket with you, either a printed copy or digitally on your smartphone.

Latecomers 

Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable break in the show or during the interval so please ensure that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance starts.

Photography/filming

We do not allow any filming, photography or recording of any kind during the performance. Anyone caught doing so will be removed and their ticket will not be refunded.

Mobile phones

Mobile phones must be switched off for the duration of the performance.

Lost property

Please email a description of the item you’ve lost, which event you attended and the best way to contact you to enquiries@alexandrapalace.com

Smoking/vaping

Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the Theatre. Please see designated smoking areas outside and use the smoking bins provided.

Special effects

Some of our performances will use strobe lighting effects, lasers, smoke effects and pyrotechnics. If you have any concerns about an event you’re thinking of attending please contact us on 020 8365 2121 for further information or email us on access@alexandrapalace.com.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are permitted into East Court. However, we only allow Assistance Dogs into the theatre.
